Raumfahrt und Textilherstellung haben viel mehr miteinander zu tun als gemeinhin bekannt ist.
Der Start der Saturn-V-Rakete, die 1969 zum ersten mal Astronauten auf den Mond brachte, wird auf eine Lochkarte projiziert, die ursprünglich in Jacquard-Webstühle Verwendung fand. Die Animation reflektiert als analoges Pixelbild an die Wand. Die Lochkarte stammt aus der historischen Weberei Goldbrokat.

Displaying the connection between space flight and textile manufacturing.
The liftoff of the Saturn V rocket, on its way to the moon in 1969, is projected onto a punch card originally used by Jacquard machines. The animation is reflected as an analog pixel image onto the wall. The punch card was kindly provided by Weberei Goldbrokat.
